About The Position

The IT Systems Support Specialist role involves providing advanced system support in a desktop and field environment. The position is focused on troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise systems, client/server setups, and business applications, ensuring effective IT support for the organization’s specific applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems including Windows 10 and 11.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.
• Experience with imaging software and automated imaging processes.
• Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer system hardware and software problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on information technology equipment and software.
• Perform complex duties related to troubleshooting, configuring, performing diagnostics, and addressing specific desktop and network hardware and software issues.
• Provide 2nd level help desk support.
• Assist with imaging, setup, and deployment for PC/Laptop telework deployment and monitor upgrades throughout the Department of Human Assistance.
• Lift equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds.
