About The Position
Tanium is growing and is searching for a dynamic IT Systems Sr. Business Analyst that will play a pivotal role in leading strategic projects that support the company’s objectives. The Sr. Business Analyst will leverage their strong analytical skills and experience with IT workflows and systems to partner with our business stakeholders and deliver insightful analysis and recommendations to them. It will be critical to establish a trusted partnership and build a deep understanding of our stakeholder’s processes and requirements to expose gaps and inefficiencies and drive automation and optimization. Responsibilities will include the elicitation, analysis and documentation of business requirements, the creation and maintenance of process flow diagrams, the creation and organization of user stories that encapsulate project deliverables and involvement in solution design. Furthermore, the Sr. Business Analyst will promote a culture of high visibility and transparency to build and maintain trust with our stakeholders. This includes maintaining clear and consistent communication with our stakeholders to ensure clear expectations and providing updates on the status of their projects. The right candidate will have a deep understanding of common IT technologies such as the Microsoft technology stack and processes such as identity management. Also desired is familiarity with Financial, Procurement, GTM and Human Resources business processes and supporting technologies. Being able to confidently interface and present appropriately abstracted data to all levels of an enterprise organization is paramount to the overall success of this role. A strong technical and analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering impactful business solutions is a must. The IT Systems Sr. Business Analyst will report to the Manager, Corporate Systems and work closely with all areas of our G&A functions. This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
