Your Purpose in this Role We are one of the top premier Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Contractors in the state of Arizona. We are looking for growth-motivated and self-starting individuals who value efficiency, reliability, and family. The In-House IT Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing all company technology systems. This role ensures reliable daily operations while strategically improving infrastructure, cybersecurity, integrations, and data systems to support company growth. The ideal candidate is both technically hands-on and strategically minded - capable of troubleshooting issues while also designing scalable systems that support e-commerce, manufacturing operations, finance, and internal workflows.

Requirements

5+ years IT systems administration experience
Strong knowledge of: Networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewall management) Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Cybersecurity best practices
Experience managing ERP and business systems
Experience with API integrations and automation tools
Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent documentation practices

Nice To Haves

Experience in e-commerce or manufacturing environments
Experience with: Shopify / WooCommerce Foundation/NetSuite / SAP / Odoo / similar ERP Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, SQL)

Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management Manage and maintain company networks, servers (cloud/on-prem), workstations, and devices
Oversee system uptime, performance, and reliability
Manage internet connectivity, firewalls, VPN, and remote access
Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery protocols
Oversee vendor relationships (MSP, ISP, software providers)
Systems & Software Administration Administer and optimize: ERP system IPADS E-commerce platform CRM Accounting software Inventory and warehouse systems
Manage integrations between platforms (API connections, automation tools, middleware)
Oversee user access control and permissions
Maintain documentation of system architecture and workflows
Cybersecurity & Risk Management Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols
Monitor system vulnerabilities and threats
Conduct regular security audits
Manage endpoint security and device policies
Ensure compliance with data protection standards
Lead incident response in case of breach
Data & Reporting Infrastructure Oversee company data architecture
Ensure data integrity across platforms
Manage data backups and redundancy
Support reporting tools and dashboards
Assist leadership with data extraction and analytics systems
Technical Support & Training Provide Tier 2/3 internal support
Develop IT policies and best practices
Train employees on system use and security
Standardize onboarding/offboarding IT processes
Strategic Technology Planning Evaluate and recommend new software and systems
Create 3–5 year IT roadmap
