About The Position

The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise print security solutions to ensure secure document workflows and compliance with organizational standards.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and print protocols (IPP, LPR/LPD).
• Experience with TLS/SSL encryption and secure authentication methods.
• Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with print management platforms (PaperCut, Vaison, WebJet Admin, PPME, and HP Security Manager).
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Server Administration.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks related to document security.
• Experience with Identity Management systems (Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra).
• Experience with Virtualization Platforms (VMWare).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain secure print management systems (e.g., PaperCut, Vaison, WebJet Admin, PPME, and HP Security Manager).
• Configure and troubleshoot print servers, queues, and network printing protocols.
• Implement authentication and access controls for print environments.
• Ensure encryption and secure transmission of print data.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to meet compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Automate print-related tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Provide documentation, training, and technical support for print security solutions.
