About The Position

The IT Systems and Network Administrator is responsible for the systems and network administration of all Three Bears Alaska locations. This role ensures the availability, performance and security of network and system operations.

Requirements

Held or currently hold certifications related to the position (e.g. A+, CCNA, Microsoft etc.)
2 years employment working as a system and/or network administrator.
Proficient in 0365 administration.
Proficient with Hyper-V and Windows Server administration.
Knowledge of IT security concepts.
Proficient in firewall/router administration (Cisco, SonicWall, Juniper etc.)
Network cabling (Ethernet, crimpers, toners etc.)
GPOs, Scripts, PowerShell in the context of workstation and server admin
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and access points.
Maintain server hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
Oversee the compliance of IT security policies and procedures.
Provide support to end-users, addressing hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Manage relationships with IT vendors and providers.
Help Desk support
Assisting in areas outside of Sys-Net as company needs dictate (e.g. traveling to stores - POS hardware support, cabling telephone, battery backups, printers, etc)`
Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.
Willingness to work outside of regularly scheduled hours if needed.
