The IT Systems Analyst-Desktop position is available at the Mokena, IL office. Reporting to the Senior Manager of End User Computing Technologies, the IT Systems Analyst-Desktop oversees the design, implementation, and support of desktop infrastructure for the organization. This role supervises a team of desktop support analysts, focusing on service delivery, technical proficiency, and ongoing improvements within end-user computing environments. The position requires technical expertise, leadership abilities, and project management experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Associate's Degree required)
• 3 - 5 years in end-user computing, IT support, or workplace technology roles
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Power BI and Windows 11 deployment
• Familiarity with maintaining documentation for desktop procedures, configurations, and policies
• Exposure to AI support tools (e.g., virtual agents, Copilot, AI Search)
• Experience leading small teams or mentoring peers
• Strong project management and vendor coordination skills
• Excellent documentation and process mapping skills (e.g., Visio)
• An understanding of Key Performance Indicators around deployment
• Technical expertise with leadership and project management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI support tools such as virtual agents and Copilot.
• Strong documentation skills, particularly in process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and support of desktop infrastructure for the organization.
• Supervise a team of desktop support analysts, focusing on service delivery and technical proficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for both live and remote technical support for Atkore users.
• Maintain and support all shop floor systems and equipment within the manufacturing environment.
• Design and maintain comprehensive onboarding and offboarding workflows for the employee lifecycle, encompassing device provisioning and policy enforcement.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for management of Windows and mobile devices, including Autopilot zero-touch deployments.
• Oversee the review and interpretation of reports to inform best practices in asset management and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead or support workplace technology initiatives from planning through execution.
