The IT Systems Administrator Sr. - Deltek VantagePoint Administrator is responsible for providing system administration support for Deltek VantagePoint solutions. This includes overseeing installation, performance monitoring, patching, backup, and restore activities, while maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The role requires technical leadership for Deltek VantagePoint support, updates, and configuration changes, as well as participation in system design, development, and operational enhancements. The administrator will create workflow processes, customize dashboards and reporting, troubleshoot issues, and respond to assigned tickets as an escalation point for internal customers requiring IT platform support. Additionally, the role involves ensuring data accuracy and analysis, leading the design and support of data imports and exports, and coordinating the integration of Deltek VantagePoint with other platforms such as SAP, Concur, Tableau, and Legal X.

  • Lead technical responsibility for Deltek VantagePoint support, updates, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in system design, development, and operational enhancements.
  • Create workflow processes and customize dashboards and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot issues and respond to assigned tickets as an escalation point for internal customers.
  • Assist in standards for data accuracy and analysis.
  • Lead designing, supporting, and ensuring accuracy of data imports and exports.
  • Coordinate and oversee integration of Deltek VantagePoint to other platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a technology-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including two (2) years as a Deltek Administrator.
  • Experience in Windows Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, ANS, IIS, SQL, Power BI, Power App, Power Automate.
  • Project management experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience using Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
  • Specific knowledge in data integrations and managing interfaces with third-party software.
  • Proficient in Excel and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of IT Security concepts.
  • Technical certification(s) such as ITILv3, MCSA, MCTS.
  • Experience with Deltek Support service requests and troubleshooting incidents.
  • High technical aptitude/acumen.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
