We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT System Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems through automation, process improvement, and innovative integrations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building reliable and secure IT environments, working with cutting-edge AI tools, and ready to take full ownership of our IT systems. The right candidate will have broad technical experience across multiple operating systems and cloud platforms, a proven record of automating manual tasks, and a keen eye for efficiency and compliance.   • Own all IT requests across the organization.
  • Drive automation of IT processes, evidence gathering, and integrations.
  • Manage core systems including Microsoft 365, MDM solutions, billing platforms, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in periodic access reviews and maintain compliance with SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Administer and troubleshoot a multi-OS environment (Mac, Windows, Linux).
  • Oversee office network infrastructure, license, and resource management.
  • Automate manual evidence collection and reporting for audits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and act as technical lead for IT direction.
  • Professional experience with Mac, Windows, and Linux system administration.
  • Demonstrable capability to automate IT functions and workflows (scripting, tools).
  • Hands-on expertise with enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, MDM, network hardware, GitHub, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledge and practical experience with SOC2, ISO 27001, and related compliance automation.
  • Experience integrating and managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to augment work.
  • Strong ownership mentality; you have opinions on the direction of IT and will own it.
  • Advanced scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Background in DevOps pipelines and workflow automation.
  • Experience with software license management and IT budgeting.
  • Prior work in regulated or finance industry environments.
  • Experience with additional automation tools or APIs for compliance workflows.
