About The Position

Netsmart is healthcare's largest human services and integrated care technology provider. This internship program, called the 'Futures Program', will be a 10-week program based at the Netsmart in Overland Park, Kansas. The program includes a balance between on-the-job learning, hands-on client-based work, professional development opportunities, leadership exposure, and several social/networking events throughout the summer. Interns will have the opportunity to act as an IT Liaison for assigned systems, providing technical resource support for operational application owners and aligned initiatives. Responsibilities include configuring, modifying, and maintaining business applications, as well as creating technical documentation for build requirements, data flow diagrams, and software/configuration specifications.

Requirements

• Rising Senior with graduation date for bachelor's or master's of December 2026 or May 2027.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and have high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance individual and team effort in collaborative processes while meeting set deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as an IT Liaison for assigned systems.
• Provide technical resource support for operational application owners.
• Configure, modify, and maintain business applications.
• Create technical documentation for build requirements, data flow diagrams, and software/configuration specifications.
• Execute application administration tasks, including system configuration settings and software application administration.
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems, including audits and analysis to ensure system integrity.
