About The Position

The IT System Administrator I supports enterprise infrastructure platforms and systems. Performs system administration activities under moderate supervision to maintain availability, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud-based environments. Participates in technology implementations, operational support, and continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational objectives. The IT System Administrator I Performs administration and maintenance of assigned infrastructure systems and platforms. Executes system updates, patching, access management, and configuration changes. Monitors system performance and assists in troubleshooting operational issues. Supports implementation of upgrades, enhancements, and deployment activities. Documents system configurations, processes, and procedures. Participates in incident response and root cause analysis activities. Collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise initiatives. Participates in after-hours support rotation as required.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of related experience is preferred in deployment and configuration of current Windows operating system, supporting and implementing changes for Azure Active Directory including Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies, Self Service Password Reset.
  • Licensure/Certification: None.
  • Must be a self-initiated team player that can work under little supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
  • Must have thorough understanding of general PC hardware, Microsoft Windows desktops, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft O365.
  • Primary business hours Monday-Friday including some weekends, holidays.
  • Will require after-hours on-call coverage
  • Occasional travel required.

  • Apple OSX and iOS experience preferred
