About The Position

The IT Support Technician is responsible for supporting Allegiant Stadium users and their systems to ensure they operate as expected and provide technical guidance to staff when appropriate. This role is expected to implement technology best practices while also emphasizing a continuous improvement mindset. The IT Support Technician will provide support for event IT needs as well as day-to-day oversight of Allegiant Stadium end user systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of working experience in IT.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Office 365, ticketing systems and networking tools.
  • IT Support experience including hardware, software, basic networking.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) a plus.
  • Experience with remote management systems, remote troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn and problem solve.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • CompTIA or IT Security+ certification is preferred.
  • Experience with cyber security tools such as EDR a plus.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to helpdesk requests, ensuring that incidents are documented and addressed.
  • Work directly with end users and management to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Configure technology assets (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices) as part of onboarding process including software installation.
  • Assist users with initial setup of their accounts and assigned technology assets day one.
  • Work with Technology Operations team to deliver technology services for events held at Allegiant Stadium in addition to onsite support.
  • Work directly with the various Allegiant Stadium departments or affiliates on initiatives to establish new/emerging technology components.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to internal users relating to software, hardware, network and mobile devices.
  • Document system configurations and changes as part of ongoing process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to facilitate new hardware/software requests and tracking of all IT assets.
  • Keep inventory of technology systems for Life Cycle Management and budgeting purposes.
  • Work closely with Technology Operations Manager to ensure appropriate inventory of systems and accessories available for deployment.
