The IT Support Technician serves as the first point of contact for the Information Systems Department at Mammoth Mountain. This role involves providing desktop support to end users, managing trouble tickets, and assisting with various IT-related tasks. The position requires on-site presence at the resort and includes responsibilities such as user account management, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.

  • Provide desktop support to end users on various IT issues.
  • Distribute trouble tickets to PC Systems Analysts, Tel Technicians, and Systems Administrators.
  • Create new user accounts and maintain user databases.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist Systems Analysts with imaging PCs and installing software.
  • Distribute PCs to users across the resort.
  • Participate in other IT projects as necessary.
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or at least 2 years of experience in a comparable IT position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for providing technical support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Active Directory is highly desirable.
