About The Position

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair computer hardware for the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM). Utilize CCOM information support systems to communicate with students, faculty and staff on a variety of IT needs. Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of CCOM IT facilities and inventory controls. Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2-4 years working in information technology or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and MacOS is a must.
  • PC hardware repair experience as well.
  • Client/customer support experience, and experience with support ticket systems desired, as well as inventory control.
  • Good organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft and Adobe productivity applications also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Client computer support and troubleshooting (50%)
  • Monitoring and responding to CCOM helpdesk requests (30%)
  • Maintain Lab Facility and related resources (15%)
  • Miscellaneous related duties (5%)
