About The Position

Parish Tractor Company is a multi-location Kubota dealership with 8 stores across Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on IT Support Technician to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving real problems for real people, and working in a multi-location business where no two days are the same. This position combines help desk support, field support, and project work. You’ll assist with everything from PC and printer issues to Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, new hire setups, and occasional travel to nearby stores for hardware installs, upgrades, and escalated support. This is not a sit-at-a-desk-only job. This is a hands-on IT role where you’ll be out visiting locations, fixing issues, setting up equipment, and helping users keep operations running. Occasional travel to other regional store locations will be required, including overnight stays for special projects, major deployments, or escalated support. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Mileage is reimbursed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • 1–2 years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
  • Confident communicator comfortable assisting non-technical users
  • Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-location, retail, or dealership environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Freshservice (preferred)
  • Experience with PC imaging, deployment, or IT asset tracking (preferred)
  • Basic networking knowledge including switches, patch panels, and cabling (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily IT support remotely and in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve: Windows 11 PCs, laptops, and mobile devices Printers, scanners, and label printers Wi-Fi and basic networking issues Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Prepare new hire equipment and assist with onboarding and offboarding
  • Support users on third-party dealership systems and software
  • Document tickets and resolutions using Freshservice help desk
  • Participate in larger IT projects (deployments, upgrades, new store setups)
