About The Position

If you enjoy solving technical challenges and keeping systems running smoothly, this role places you at the center of our daily operations. As an IT Support Technician at ComSonics, you'll be the person our employees turn to when their technology isn't cooperating. You'll help keep computers, devices, and applications running reliably so everyone can stay productive. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of technical support needs-whether it's troubleshooting a workstation, helping a user connect to the network, or setting up new hardware for an employee. You'll install and configure operating systems and applications, support company systems such as email and file storage, and manage user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. You'll also keep track of support requests and equipment through our ticketing system, ensuring that documentation stays accurate and up to date. Your work will include routine maintenance such as applying patches and updates, resolving printer and peripheral issues, and supporting conference room technology like Teams Rooms. When more complex network issues arise, you'll handle the initial troubleshooting and escalate as needed. Throughout everything you do, you'll follow established security and confidentiality standards to help protect company data and systems. What You Bring Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, peripherals, and workstation deployments Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless/wired connectivity, and VPN Knowledge of imaging, endpoint security, and tools like BitLocker High School Diploma/GED with one year of related technical training and/or 3-6 months relevant work experience, or a equivalent mix of training and work experience. Requirements
