About The Position

As an IT Support Technician at CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring that both CGI members and clients across the United States have the technology they need to perform their work effectively. This position is based in Lebanon, VA, Belton, TX, or Wausau, WI, and is integral to supporting our clients' digital journeys as we continue to build one of the largest independent technology and business services firms in the world. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional customer support and enhancing the overall user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting incoming support requests from internal end users and external clients via phone and email. Your day-to-day activities will include imaging and deploying workstations, tracking and managing hardware assets, and ensuring that all IT support requests are resolved in a timely manner. You will act as the first line of support, addressing issues related to end-user equipment and systems, which may involve collaboration with vendors, other CGI support groups, and corporate management. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, including making recommendations for improvements to existing processes. You will also be tasked with managing the physical inventory of IT assets, including mobility devices, desktop and laptop computers, and peripherals. Full documentation of physical inventory and support procedures is expected, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for tracking and reporting purposes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about technology, as you will be expected to work independently while also collaborating with multiple teams to achieve business goals.
