Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Troubleshoots and resolves IT issues for users promptly to minimize downtime.
• Identifies and resolves technical hardware and software issues.
• Installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Performs regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Assists in the administration of IT systems, including user account management and access control.
• Monitors system performance and implements adjustments to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Maintains documentation related to IT systems and procedures and IT inventory records.
• Coordinates procurement and disposal of IT equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
• Troubleshoots network connectivity issues and implements solutions.
• Assists in the setup and maintenance of network equipment, including routers and switches.
• Ensures network security and integrity, including firewall management.
• Sets up and configures workstations for new users.
• Provides training and technical support to users on hardware and software usage.
• Creates user guides and documentation to facilitate user self-help.
