About The Position

The IT Support Tech at Dalkia Energy Solutions, LLC is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of computer hardware, software, and networking solutions. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing IT assets, and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, all while maintaining a high level of customer service and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years Desktop Support experience
  • Previous Office 365 and Windows OS experience
  • Experience working with Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • In-depth knowledge in security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems
  • Attention to detail is extremely important
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring Solutions, Jamf Pro & ConnectWise
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management Solutions, specifically Jamf Pro
  • Experience working with different departments and external vendors
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently & self organize tasks
  • Great customer service experience both over the phone and electronically
  • Experience conducting training sessions
  • Excellent customer service skills both over the phone and electronically
  • Outstanding communication, computer and coordination skills
  • Desktop support (Windows & Apple) & Mobile device support (Android & iOS) experience helpful
  • A strong attention to detail with competent vocabulary
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and daily deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year Associate's Degree is required, a B.S. or B.A. Degree is preferred
  • Jamf Pro 100 or above certificate
  • Experience working in a service, maintenance, or logistics department
  • Skilled in problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Receives & creates incoming internal and external IT requests
  • Meeting the company's needs for computer hardware, software and networking solutions
  • Help solving employee computer and software problems
  • Designing, installing, and supporting systems tied to IT operations and infrastructure
  • Creating proper documentation that supports employees' adoption of existing and new technologies
  • Configuring and troubleshooting both Apple and Android Mobile devices
  • Configuring and troubleshooting both Apple and Windows Computers
  • Utilize a ticketing system for troubleshooting and documentation
  • Utilizing MDM & RMM solutions to expedite troubleshooting and provide proactive fixes
  • Follow up on the equipment needs for new employees, document that equipment was distributed and assigned appropriately
  • Manage all IT assets in the business unit
  • Recommend and support process improvements
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned
  • Perform end-user onboarding training
