About The Position

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. Based in Westminster, Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a 2026 IT Spring Intern to join our corporate IT team. Interns will gain hands-on experience in supporting essential business information systems, network infrastructure, and user support, all within a highly technical and innovative industry. As an IT Intern, you will work alongside our experienced IT team to support and maintain our Microsoft-based infrastructure and provide day-to-day technical support to company employees. This internship provides the opportunity to develop practical IT skills in a professional setting while contributing directly to the success of a company advancing the future of space exploration.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Prior experience with IT troubleshooting is helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident/green card holder).
  • Must be able to work in-person at our Westminster, CO office.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Microsoft Azure (Entra ID).
  • Unix-based operating systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT team with daily tasks and projects.
  • Provide support for end-user tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Help maintain and manage Windows-based computers and servers.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of software and hardware.
  • Support the IT team in ensuring network security and data integrity.
  • Document IT processes and update technical manuals as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IT projects and initiatives.
