About The Position

The IT Support Specialist at Masimo is responsible for providing comprehensive IT troubleshooting and support for end-users in a global IT environment. This role involves assisting internal employees with their computer and software issues across various platforms, including Windows, Macs, iOS, and Android. The specialist will also contribute to improving Helpdesk processes, manage hardware and software inventory, and ensure compliance with security policies.

Requirements

  • Professional and confidential customer support experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and services including ethernet, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks.
  • Technical aptitude to learn, follow, and create instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certifications preferred.
  • Hardware Certifications preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of Windows client/server network environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to internal Masimo employees to fulfill requests and troubleshoot issues with desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist onsite and remote employees with their computer and software issues with Windows, Macs, iOS, and Android.
  • Provide recommendations for improving Helpdesk processes.
  • Escalate any major or unresolved IT issues to IT management.
  • Assist with implementation of policies and processes for company compliance with federal regulations.
  • Understand all security policies associated within the network infrastructure.
  • Perform software installation and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Image computers and set up desktops/laptops.
  • Document resolution and follow up with trouble tickets.
  • Help purchase and manage hardware and software inventory.
  • Assist other IT team members with project tasks and testing.
  • Maintain computer equipment connected to the network.
  • Provide end-user and remote support; assist and educate network users; prepare technical and user documentation and training materials.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
