About The Position

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving user problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. The specialist will also assist in the setup and configuration of new equipment, maintain inventory of IT assets, and provide training to users on various software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and excellent communication skills to effectively assist users.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and support.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide solutions.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of new computers and peripherals.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Train users on software applications and best practices.
