About The Position

We specialize in agriculture products, including seeds, fertilizers, and plant nutrients. Our culture is centered around supporting small farms and helping family farms thrive. We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of customer service and technical support. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our employees and clients seeking technical assistance from our headquarters in Baltic, South Dakota. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and resolve issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This is not a remote position. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service.
• Phone communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely technical support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems.
• Document and track issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
