The IT Support Specialist will work with the Local, Regional, and Global IT Groups to support the lifecycle of local endpoints; mobile devices; accessories; network printing; other IT/office systems; assistance with network infrastructure, server maintenance, and backups; user onboarding / offboarding; and overall end-user support.

  • Follow all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, and cost objectives are met
  • Ensure good housekeeping of all work areas
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry to support job tasks
  • Continuously monitor technology with minimal guidance and provide stable/reliable support in the daily operation of technology systems.
  • Monitor trends of systems and plan work with leadership to expand needs or develop enhancements to achieve or exceed business goals
  • Participate in planning processes and work in a team environment for all projects and modifications.
  • Ensure continuous alignment with business requirements and successful project rollout at the facility
  • Collaborate closely with Local business, Industrial IT, Engineering, External IT teams, and other operational teams to achieve success in a cross functional environment.
  • Work in a team environment to design, develop and support all IT and OT endpoints, such as Desktop/Laptops, Mobile Devices, Handheld RFID, Barcode Scanners, Servers, Printers, Networks, etc.
  • Identify/communicate continuous improvement opportunities
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • High School Diploma from an accredited institution or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent degree is preferred
  • Good communication skills and some experience with presenting to a team or group.
  • Ability to work effectively to perform in a team-oriented, manufacturing environment
  • Pragmatism to analyze and manage incidents/problems and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Act as change agent and to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment examination, background check, and drug screen
  • United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
