About The Position

Responsible for supporting the Ametek PTMC computing environment related to Active Directory account maintenance, PC installs and upgrades, application support and troubleshooting, Help Desk management and technical assistance to users. This is a hands-on onsite position, based at Precitech in Keene, NH. This position also supports the TMC location in Peabody, MA.

Requirements

  • AS in Computer Science related field or CompTIA / Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, O365 applications, Windows10 and Windows 11
  • Experience with Microsoft server 2012 and above
  • Experience working in a networked environment
  • Capable to independently resolve hardware, software, network problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with users in a professional and courteous manner
  • Capable to perform a variety of tasks as assigned by management
  • Service Desk Software experience
  • Reliable transportation is required

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
  • Maintain/Install/Upgrade user PC systems and peripherals
  • Install PC applications per user requirements
  • Manage Help Desk system to assist users with technical issues
  • Maintain documentation relating to hardware inventory and user procedures
  • Maintain system security as required by Corporate IT standards
  • Work with third-party maintenance service providers to resolve PC, peripheral and third-party software issues
  • Manage and support user telecommunication needs
  • Provide support to remote users with VPN and remote access tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Regular, non-overnight travel to the Peabody site is required
