Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate or BS degree in a related field preferred.
• One year of experience in the IT field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Working knowledge of system and data security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of IT and hospital staff to clarify needs and prioritize requests.
• Resolve IT issues and recommend workflow enhancements related to EMR and healthcare technology.
• Document workflow processes and identify necessary process changes for compliance and optimization.
• Communicate process enhancements and changes effectively to staff.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring IT performance.
• Repair, install, and support the IT team in project development and new installations.
• Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing patient care needs.
