About The Position

We are seeking a full-time dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance to users of company technology, perform systems maintenance, manage software and hardware, while assisting with information security systems to ensure a stable and compliant IT infrastructure. This position reports to and collaborates with the IT Director.

Requirements

  • Previous IT experience and/or IT education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and follow tasks to completion
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree
  • 2 years experience in IT

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT help desk support to employees
  • Complete daily monitoring of network and firewall activity
  • Support the bank in resolving operational and network issues
  • Maintain and ensure proper antivirus deployment, manage and replace end of life software and hardware, remediate vulnerabilities
  • Maintain hardware, configure workstations and distribute to staff as needed, assist in moving equipment when needed
  • Assist with project management, such as overseeing the establishment of all IT needs for new buildings/offices at the direction of the IT Director
  • Maintains and reinforces the IT and Information Security policies of the bank and helps provide IT training throughout the organization
  • Assists with audits and exams
  • Serves as a critical member of the Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Team
