About The Position

The IT Support Specialist I position at Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) involves providing essential desktop and service desk support to end-users. Requirements

  • Associates degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and Active Directory.
  • Experience with software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
  • Experience in installing hardware and software for personal computing needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interface professionally with all levels of personnel.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mac Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user desktop and service desk support.
  • Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment hardware and peripherals, including printers and scanners.
  • Support software applications, including commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and in-house applications.
  • Specialty support for Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects, Windows 7/10, Mac Operating Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Perform advanced support and setup of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
