Requirements

  • 1 year computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment
  • Experience to include knowledge of basic system commands and error message recognition
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, such as printers and scanners
  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • College diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • CompTIA's A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds
  • Ability to walk 3+ miles a day through casino properties
  • Work shifts vary
  • NV gaming

Responsibilities

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Identify issues that require escalation
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Assist with special event or project related equipment setups
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Perform duties as assigned
