About The Position

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the sixth largest transportation system in the United States, with a vast network of fixed route services including bus, subway/elevated, trackless trolley, light rail, and commuter rail serving a 2,200 square mile service region. SEPTA has become an integral force in the economic success of the Philadelphia region, providing an efficient and reliable source of transportation. We are seeking candidates for the position of IT Support Specialist (3052) in the I T - Technical Services. The IT Support Specialist provides responsive, high quality customer support to our end users. This role will support the hardware and software, and light administration of systems used by end users companywide. This individual contributor is primarily responsible for providing first and second level support to resolve difficult or complex problems, performing the setup and maintenance of computer systems, and interacting with third party hardware and/or software vendors.
