About The Position

The IT Support Coordinator provides Level II support for the day-to-day operations of the organization’s technology environment. This includes computer systems, networks, programs, infrastructure, user support, databases, and mobile technologies. A strong customer service mindset is essential, as this role is the first point of contact for technical issues and technology needs across the company.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; 5–7 years of relevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with a variety of business software and construction-related platforms preferred, including but not limited to: HCSS HeavyJob, HCSS HeavyBid, Vista Viewpoint, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, HCSS Dispatcher, Apex/Libra, Primavera P6, CAD, BambooHR, Telematics, Meraki, Veritas, Datto.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability to support users with patience, clarity, and a service-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working with staff across departments and job sites, including remote field locations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and a clean driving record, as this role requires travel to remote offices and job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective helpdesk support to end users, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
  • Maintain and administer corporate IT systems including hardware, software, networks, and user access.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues; identify recurring problems and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Manage company mobile and internet plans; evaluate providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Track, maintain, and support all IT assets, including computers, tablets, smartphones, and networking equipment.
  • Set up and maintain technology infrastructure in main and field offices, including network connectivity and access control.
  • Collaborate on evaluating, recommending, and integrating technology solutions that align with company needs and existing systems.
  • Create, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT-related processes.
  • Coordinate IT training, manage small to mid-size technology projects, and oversee third-party vendors and consultants.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
