About The Position

We are seeking an Entry‑Level IT Support Technician to assist with day‑to‑day IT operations and end‑user support. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who has some professional work experience, a basic understanding of IT concepts, and a strong interest in hands‑on technical support.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of professional work experience (any industry).
Any form of IT experience such as internships, coursework, labs, certifications, home labs, or entry‑level IT roles.
Experience with data entry, inventory tracking, or record keeping.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to IT hardware configuration (PC setup, peripheral connections, basic troubleshooting) is a plus.
Familiarity with Windows environments.
Basic understanding of IT support processes or ticketing systems.
Relevant coursework or certifications (CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, etc.).

Responsibilities

Assist with basic IT support tasks including hardware setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and equipment assignments.
Support the configuration, deployment, and replacement of IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
Track equipment movement, updates, and returns to ensure inventory accuracy.
Document tasks, procedures, and updates clearly for internal tracking and reporting.
Escalate issues to senior IT staff when necessary and assist with follow‑up tasks.
