About The Position

The role of IT Support Associate is vital to our organization’s operations as a mission-driven online lender. This position is responsible for supporting the IT Department with routine troubleshooting, user support, and administrative/development tasks, as well as managing certain responsibilities such as software license/technology inventory, equipment provisioning, and vendor communications regarding troubleshooting. The IT Support Associate will have the opportunity to assist with a wide variety of projects and gain experience in several systems, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Entra ID and Azure products. Depending on experience, skills, and interests, additional responsibilities may be added. This is an excellent opportunity for someone new to the IT field, or for an experienced individual looking to shift into the social impact sector.

Requirements

  • Be a self-starter with an impeccable eye for detail
  • Be a continuous learner and open to working in unfamiliar development environments
  • Have one to three years experience in IT support or help desk
  • Experience with network troubleshooting
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to end users in understandable terms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Salesforce administration or development
  • Degree or equivalent experience in network administration and solutions
  • Experience with Active Directory or Azure AD

Responsibilities

  • Provision and de-provision technology for users
  • Configure and maintain systems in compliance with prescribed security standards
  • Support management with security monitoring, auditing, and policy enforcement across the organization
  • Maintain inventory of Good Fund devices and keep them up to date
  • Asset management
  • With the C-Suite, General Counsel, and the Sr. Director of IT, review Department Handbooks to ensure compliance with our ISP
  • Provide administrative support to the IT department, including Filing/Managing paperwork, forms and license agreements
  • Shipping; coordinating device purchase & repair
  • Coordinating communications with managed services partners on advanced troubleshooting; providing assistance and support to vendors or staff in a timely and efficient manner
  • Administer user accounts and software licenses
  • Administer cloud phone system
  • Responsible for addressing routine hardware and software performance issues, and coordinating repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist the IT department with routine administration and troubleshooting tasks
  • Support the team as needed with organization-wide technology initiatives such as software migration, implementation, and integrations
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
