Join us.”Essential FunctionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our IT Supply Chain team. The intern will support our team in creating business cases, flow diagrams, reporting and other activities as assigned. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of critical IT Supply Chain initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a major in Computer science or related engineering fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of a relational database (MySQL preferred) & SQL.
• Knowledge of Warehouse management system is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Dive into a number of complex analytical and technical projects and gain a better understanding of our business.
• Be involved in the latest Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System Implementation in an omni-channel, Distribution Center environment.
• Work directly with technology/engineering leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with different departments and communicate information effectively.
• Receive professional development training to improve soft and hard skills.
• Develop technical procedures from observing business processes and interacting with warehouse management team members.
• Engage in individual and group projects focused on the full project life-cycle.
• Collaborate with software and material handling equipment vendors along with business leaders and key stakeholders to brainstorm on how to solve complex problems.
• Use the process and system knowledge to build Cognos reports.
• Review test cases and provide feedback.
• Execute test cases and document results to get hands-on experience of the DC processes.
