IT Strategy and Innovation Director Location: Mendota Heights, MN. This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The IT Strategy & Planning Director is responsible for IT strategic planning, analysis, and execution of IT functional plans to ensure growth and performance aligns with the organization's strategic intent. This role functions enabling strategy and growth. How you will make an impact: • Develop and execute IT strategies that align with enterprise priorities and support growth objectives. • Partner with senior leaders to define multi-year technology plans, investment priorities, and innovation roadmaps. • Conduct internal and external research on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes to guide technology strategy and investment decisions. • Synthesize annual and multi-year technology plans with clear alignment to corporate and CIO-level strategies. • Execute roadmap deliverables through strategic leadership of prioritized organizational needs, partnering across the IT, Growth & Marketing organizations. • Serve as a technical advisor to sales and growth teams during pursuit cycles. • Lead or contribute to technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and proposal submissions, ensuring solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic capabilities. • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for clients and prospects. • Support solution design, pricing assumptions, architectural considerations, and compliance requirements needed for competitive bids. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions accurately reflect current and planned capabilities. • Create executive-level reports and presentations that simplify complex technical and strategic subject matter. • Develop materials for leadership presentations, internal communications, client-facing strategy discussions, and strategic planning forums. • Support enterprise planning efforts and execution of multi-year strategies, including cross-functional alignment and communication. • Lead program-level reporting, project communication, issue/risk tracking, change requests, and deliverable management for strategic initiatives. • Provide methodology coaching in project management, change management, and process design as needed. • Identify, track, and report on opportunities for technological and operational efficiency. • Develop metrics for budget, spend, and performance tracking. • Manage variance processes and support resource planning to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
