About The Position

JD Finish Line has made a commitment to developing and promoting internal talent via our Investing in People strategy. We realize that supporting one's journey into their next role requires dedicated learning & development opportunities. To achieve this, we have decided to reimagine our internship program, exclusively allowing our internal talent from Retail Stores, the Distribution Center and Customer Care Call Center teams to participate. This new format will become known as our Corporate Academy (internal internship program), which allows team members to have a program dedicated to growing internally and being successful in corporate positions. The 10 week internal program allows our employees the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of departments including: Merchandising (Planning & Allocation), Marketing, Digital Operations, Supply Chain, and IT. The 2026 Spring Corporate Academy will begin on February 23rd, 2026 and will conclude on May 1st, 2026. This program will take place 2 times a year - Spring and Summer. Housing will be covered in full. If the candidate selected currently makes less than $13.00 per hour, their pay will be raised to $13.00 per hour while interning. If they make more in their current role, their pay will remain flat. The Corporate Academy features working in entry level corporate positions, as well as cross-functional training and other great opportunities including: Informational sessions with executive leadership Extracurricular networking & professional development activities Opportunities for one-on-one informational sessions with both new and experienced professionals alike Career coaching from HR professionals Professional training sessions from our Learning & Development team This job description is not intended to cover all aspects, duties, and/or responsibilities required of employees. Requirements

  • Eligible employees include: Internal employee in good standing from our Retail Stores (including store managers), Distribution Center, and Customer Care
  • No education required, but a Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Should have intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Google G-Suite.
  • Intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Excel is preferred for every internship.
  • For the IT Intern Exclusively: Preferred Skills: Obtained or pursuing a degree in IT, technology, or informatics related field
  • Past experience with information systems, data science, or IT preferred
