About The Position

Speedway Motorsports, LLC, a leading marketer, promoter, and sponsor of motorsports entertainment in the United States, is seeking an IT Specialist for full-time employment at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent experience. Availability for after-hours support and event weekends is required. Candidates with flexibility to travel are preferred.

• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for approximately 50 employees.
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware.
• Maintain and support AV equipment and WiFi networks.
• Troubleshoot and install wired and wireless networks.
• Configure and support Apple and Android mobile products.
• Support and maintain printers and VoIP phone systems.
• Manage network infrastructure, including wireless bridging and fiber optic networking.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and maintain security best practices.
• Support remote staff with networking and server maintenance.
• Plan and implement IT projects with minimal disruption.
• Document IT processes and system configurations.
• Occasionally perform physical tasks such as cable installation and hardware mounting.
