About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented IT Specialist to support our growing, multi-location organization. This role works closely with the Director of IT Systems and is critical to ensuring our teams have reliable, secure, and well-maintained technology across HQ, Warehouse, and Retail environments. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day IT support while also helping improve systems, processes, and documentation as we scale. This is an on-site role that requires a strong service mindset, comfort working across departments, and the ability to troubleshoot in real time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience in an on-site or multi-location environment
  • Strong working knowledge of macOS (primary) and Windows
  • Experience supporting cloud-based business systems such as productivity/collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), communication platforms, and enterprise applications (ERP, e-commerce platforms)
  • Familiarity with device management tools (MDM), ticketing systems, and asset tracking
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable supporting Warehouse and Retail environments.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and device compliance.
  • Highly responsive, service-oriented, and patient.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear communicator who can support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Comfortable being physically present, visible, and proactive on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily on-site IT support at Calabasas HQ, with scheduled and as-needed visits to Warehouse and Retail locations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues for macOS and Windows users.
  • Support POS systems, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and retail technology.
  • Respond to IT tickets, walk-ups, and urgent issues with high-level service and follow-through.
  • Manage IT equipment inventory (laptops, monitors, peripherals, mobile devices)
  • Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new hires (imaging, setup, access)
  • Wipe, reset, and recover equipment during employee offboarding
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, and warranty claims as needed
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems (Google Workspace, Slack, ADP, POS, etc.)
  • Assist with system support and user access related to NetSuite and Shopify, including basic troubleshooting and coordination with internal teams or external partners.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding workflows in partnership with the People Team.
  • Maintain security best practices related to access control and device management.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, routers, switches, VPN)
  • Support office moves, desk setups, and new location openings from an IT perspective
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers as needed
  • Assist with light office management support as needed, including technology-related coordination with facilities and operations.
  • Help with desk setups, conference room functionality, and general workplace tech readiness.
  • Partner with the People Team to ensure offices are functional, organized, and well-supported.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT workflows, tools, and user experience
  • Support IT audits and compliance needs as required
