About The Position

The IT Specialist should represent Ihrie Supply in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with core values, policies, procedures, and culture. He/she should be courteous and friendly and have strong communication skills to help in building trust, clarifying project requirements, negotiating costs and ensuring that all parties are on the same page. Must be detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and have strong analytical skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A good technical aptitude and general computer troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient with all MS Office applications....especially MS Excel
• Some after hours and weekend support required (upgrades, installations, etc.)
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Some travel required to Branch locations
• Good interpersonal

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt first level problem resolution to employees at all Branch locations.
• Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers
• Loads appropriate software packages
• Assist with coordinating the resolution of hardware/software system problems
• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist users through simple procedures
• Advise and assist end users with the operation and use of systems
• Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
• Support of e-commerce customer service functions and standards
• Trouble shot phone systems
• Provide professional customer service to all employees.
• Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned
