Role Description: As a beginner Information Technology Specialist at ASG, you assist in foundational IT operations, support troubleshooting, and develop skills under supervision to build competency for higher-level responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT, help desk support, or a related field.
  • Degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Build knowledge of IT support principles and ASG systems.
  • Build skills in troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
  • Build communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and work under supervision.
  • Accountability: Owning the consequences of your decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

  • Workstation & System Setup: Responsible for assisting in workstation setup, imaging, and configuration.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Responsible for assisting with basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • User Account & Access Management: Responsible for assisting with user account setup and access provisioning.
  • IT Documentation & Inventory Management: Responsible for updating IT logs, inventory entries, and documentation.
  • Compliance, Workflow, & SOP Adherence: Responsible for escalating issues per IT workflows and SOPs.
  • Learning, Development, & Continuous Improvement: Responsible for staying updated on IT trends and emerging technologies.
