About The Position

We’re looking for an IT Specialist to serve a vital role on our Corporate IT team. This position ensures timely, high-quality technical support across the organization. You’ll support end users, manage devices, and help maintain the tools and systems that keep Slickdeals teams productive and connected.

Requirements

  • A strong customer-service mindset with a sense of urgency and a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while also working independently when needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment on when to escalate issues.
  • Comfort with hands-on technical work, including physical setup and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or confined spaces (e.g., under desks, AV installations).

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 years of experience managing and supporting devices using JAMF, Microsoft Intune, or similar MDM platforms.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience administering identity and Access Management experience, including Okta, SSO, and multi-factor authentication (2FA).
  • Familiarity with Zoom Video and other corporate Audio/Video technologies.
  • 1 - 3 years experience with either Jira Service Desk, Jira Software, and Confluence or a comparable ticketing platform.
  • Experience managing IAM user roles and permissions within a complex AWS environment.
  • Experience with API integrations between AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and HRIS or enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for the Slickdeals IT service desk, providing technical support both in-office and remotely via Slack and Zoom.
  • Create, resolve, and close support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Image, deploy, and support macOS and Windows 11 laptops, including new hire onboarding, device setup and assist in basic new hire IT training and presentations.
  • Administer, support, and audit core workplace technology platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Okta, and other SaaS tools.
  • Assist with device lifecycle management and asset tracking for computer equipment.
  • Assist with user lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Triage and resolve hardware and software issues across laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational best practices.
  • Support Audio/Video equipment, including Zoom Rooms and conference room technologies.
  • Travel between Las Vegas, NV and San Mateo, CA as required based on project needs.
