About The Position
The IT Specialist at River Mill Academy oversees the school’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of devices, networks, and systems. Responsibilities include managing networks, maintaining devices, and handling repairs and imaging. The role also involves supporting security systems, creating and managing staff ID badges, and providing AV support for events. Additionally, the IT Specialist prepares laptops for testing, assists with classroom technology, and collaborates with administration on technology upgrades and future planning. By focusing on proactive maintenance, problem-solving, and documentation, the IT Specialist ensures the school’s technology runs efficiently. Opportunities for both part-time and full-time roles are exist and are determined by the candidate’s experience in education.
