About The Position

Department: Information Technology Reports to: IT Manager Supervises: None Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and computer network systems. Report equipment quantity needs, set up new users with job specific hardware and system access. Maintain and support the information technology infrastructure (network and computer hardware) for all locations throughout Gooseneck Implement. Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and tracking systems. Provide phone support and training to new and current users and solve miscellaneous phone problems, including set-up, moving phones, voice mail, and possible cable installation. Provide support to users relating to both hardware and software problems on their personal computers. Perform preventive maintenance for computer, data communication, and/or peripheral equipment; test and adjust to appropriate standards. Maintains knowledge of current technology and stays abreast of new technological advancements. Assists in developing and delivering information technology and business system training for the entire organization. Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
  • Proven ability to work well with internal and external users.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Working knowledge of IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, patching, phishing awareness, and basic incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Intune, endpoint protection, and user access controls
  • Strong knowledge of networking and associated with Cisco hardware (network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and routers).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher).
  • 2+ years’ experience in an equivalent IT field preferred and/or bachelor’s degree in computer information systems.
  • Must have valid drivers license and be insurable to drive
  • Must be able to travel to all 14 store locations across ND and SD.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of John Deere dealer software and processes is a plus.
