About The Position

Northwood Health Systems is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our office based team located in Wheeling, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have at least an associate's degree in computer science or related field, or 2+ years of experience in an IT support role. Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems
• Proficiency in network administration, including routers, switches, and firewalls is a plus
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of cloud-based phone systems
• Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users
• Maintain computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Install and configure software, hardware, and peripherals
• Monitor and maintain network security
• Ensure data backup and retrieval procedures are in place
• Manage user accounts and access controls
