About The Position

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of computer diagnostic utilities.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, including desktops, laptops, and smart devices.
  • Experience working in secure environments and supporting remote security tools.
  • Deep familiarity with Office 365 and Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Preferred experience with Windows Server 2016 and newer.
  • Preferred experience with Ubiquiti devices, Meraki devices, and other Cisco networking hardware.
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively and concisely within a team environment.
  • Able to work independently and provide remote support as required.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Driver's license and a vehicle is required as this position involves travelling to other store locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming tickets and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Travel to up to 8 store locations as needed to support end users and be present onsite 5 days per week.
  • Develop deep familiarity with internal systems and processes to better support them.
  • Provide support for core servers, network stacks, phone system, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Track work through IT ticketing system.
  • Write training manuals.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems and remotely troubleshoot workstation issues.
  • Install, modify, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users such as monitors, phones, printers, signature pads, etc.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures in performing work assignments.
