About the position

The position is for an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) within the DLA Information Operations, J6. The role involves serving as the primary intermediary between customers and the development team throughout a project's lifecycle, focusing on the Enterprise Business System (EBS). Responsibilities include analyzing complex Automated Information Systems (AIS), evaluating customer desired changes, and exploring Business Process Reengineering (BPR) opportunities. The position also requires acting as a Scrum Master, aligning requirement requests with the organization's strategic plan, and supporting integration into EBS strategies and goals. The job is permanent, full-time, and offers multiple appointment types across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary intermediary between customers and the development team throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Analyze various complex Automated Information Systems (AIS).
  • Evaluate customer desired changes and explore Business Process Reengineering (BPR) opportunities.
  • Act as a Scrum Master, aligning requirement requests with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Support integration into EBS strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, products, and services.
  • Assist Project Managers in the selection and integration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) AIS solutions.
  • Participate in business planning sessions with representatives from DLA, DoD, and military services.
  • Motivate and advise Agile project teams, educating them on Agile processes.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
  • Experience in analysis of complex AIS logistics business processes.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Knowledge of cloud platform technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise software such as SAP.
  • Proficiency in using project and issue tracking tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
