About The Position

We are currently seeking an IT Specialist - Power Platform for our client in the Manufacturing domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract to Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Role Description: The IT Specialist - Power Platform must have 3+ years of experience. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT/Power Platform Specialist to join our team in Lemont, IL. This role blends traditional IT support responsibilities with opportunities to design and deliver solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT helpdesk support, an eagerness to expand into low-code/no-code development, and the professional presence to interact effectively with business users across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI); prior development experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Professional business etiquette and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing helpdesk support to end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly applications and workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, solutions, and support activities.
  • Ensure a professional, customer-focused approach when working with employees across all departments.
  • Proactively learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and business processes.
