Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install and configure routers, switches, and firewalls. Maintain compliance with DoD Security Technical Configuration Guides (STIGS). Monitor network performance. Respond to trouble calls, isolate, and correct performance issues. Maintain network drawings. Maintain training and certification for currently deployed technologies. Travel This position includes a low level of travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree within the last five years in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar degree as listed in the DoD 8140 listings from an ABET accredited or NCAE designated institution.

  • Maintain Cyber Work Force requirements of 20 Continuing Education Units (CEU): meet a minimum of 20 CEUs per year, or as required by certifications, whichever is greater.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired, however candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations on base.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor and/or manager when not in the office.
  • Ability to frequently traverse stairs.
  • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
