About The Position
The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos’ is seeking an IT Specialist in the Long Beach, MS facility to provide system configuration, logistics, and support for a growing, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Move equipment to and from controlled storage to datacenters for configuration and burn-in. Troubleshoot configuration errors. Participate in team meetings to understand and support project planning and deadlines. Receive material into the warehouse. Perform inspections on incoming deliveries. Support the preparation of shipments for delivery and organize/schedule trucks Maintain and organize inventory through cycle counts, kitting, labeling, and stock put-away. Other duties as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational discipline, and time management.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical warehouse duties up to 8 hours per day.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed.
- Awareness and responsiveness to safety signals and environmental conditions.
