About The Position
As an IT Specialist focusing on Information Security (INFOSEC), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity program. This includes overseeing the cybersecurity architecture, defining requirements, setting objectives, and formulating policies that govern the security landscape of the organization. You will work closely with the Cyber Security Directorate to ensure that all cybersecurity measures are effectively implemented and adhered to across the organization. Your collaboration will be vital in fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance among personnel. In your role, you will assist the Information Systems Security Manager in developing comprehensive policies and procedures aimed at ensuring the reliability and accessibility of information systems. This involves creating strategies to prevent unauthorized access to systems, networks, and sensitive data. You will be responsible for conducting thorough risk and vulnerability assessments of both planned and existing information systems. This assessment process will help identify potential vulnerabilities, risks, and the necessary protection measures that need to be in place to safeguard the organization's information assets. Additionally, you will participate in the design of networks and systems, ensuring that appropriate security policies are integrated into the implementation phase. Your expertise will be essential in guiding the technical teams to align their designs with the established security protocols, thereby enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
