About The Position

The Senior Solutions Developer will leverage advanced technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain application and data integrations that support the Flight Data Systems product team. This team provides critical capabilities including device provisioning, field status monitoring, flight data processing, and secure data access for internal users. This role works closely with IT partners to ensure seamless communication and data flow between enterprise systems. Responsibilities include contributing to solution architecture and design specifications, as well as coding, testing, debugging, and deploying integrations within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The Senior Solutions Developer reports to the Associate Product Manager of Flight Data Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years' related experience in database technology database technology such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, no-SQL, MongoDB required.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing such as Azure Services, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure DevOps, Azure DB will be a plus. Experience with data visualizations on the web, Oauth login flows with Azure Entra ID, Plotly Dash a plus.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and changing priorities with minimal transition time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps processes a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cloud Computing such as Azure Services, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure DevOps, Azure DB will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update existing documentation where available, author new documentation as required
  • Conduct code review sessions with other developers and include suggesting improvements or alternate strategies
  • Develop and update design and functional documentation
  • Contribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent effort
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, requirements definition, and documentation
  • Train and mentor other team members in your area of expertise
  • Partner with the Integration Solutions Architect and collaborate with front-end teams and aircraft engineering teams to design and implement application features or systems changes to the FDS product.
